Snowed in here at the crib, a rare occurrence in eastern nc, mom wanted French 75 to commemorate the occasion. I said I’m on the 1of1🕺💕🛸 lifestyle plan I can’t make a normal French 75. So I picked some rosemary and made a syrup. She doesn’t really like it and wishes she had a normal French 75 but I think it’s good

🍸because i shouldn't have to pay $17 for a fun little drink, but i still want an elevated drinking experience. this weekend i made fresh ginger syrup and it was so good. liquor + sweet + acid + liqueur is the best formula

🍸Nah I see y’all liking & subbing without recommending anything, that’s fine. Let me give you a starting point:
(All of this is to taste btw) - Lemon juice, fresh or bottled idc - Honey - Hot water - Bourbon or whiskey, preferably japanese
Take some honey & lemon juice and pour it into a container, then slowly add some hot water to it; it'll make a syrup. I bottle and store this for more uses.
Pour some into a glass, and then pour in your bourbon (Noah’s Mill for me) or whiskey (Nikka Days for me) of choice until it looks right. Mix it up. Add ice. Enjoy 2-3. Be warm and cozy and fall asleep on the couch.
Edit: oh yeah add bitters, a few little droplets. Add them in whenever your heart desires you to.

📝Ok stay with me here. Too much public filming. This is going to discourage good weird public activity. We need people being weird in public. Odd dancing, carrying around insane items, freaked out fits, etc. Instead of a quick vid to show your friends, or, god forbid, *get internet clout*, people should be sketching the scene and describing it in colorful language. Now you have to take accountability for your opinion on the matter, your draftsmanship and writing gets better, and the public freaks have plausible deniability in the job interview. This goes for drunk man on the street tik tok videos as well. Put on a newsboy cap and start jotting. There should be exceptions like intentional performances or heinous crimes of course. I’m open to other exceptions I just can’t think of any rn. This will never be a reality but i can try
