I finally caved and got a tiny Nalgene bottle on recommendation from several friends. Considering yet another water bottle felt excessive, but I was convinced by folks who said the small size was perfect for travel (small enough to fit in a purse or tote), and a serviceable flask in a pinch.
my girlfriend recently got me this 16oz nalgene water bottle and it’s simply a delightful size. i have large water bottles for days at the beach, hikes, and such but sometimes you don’t want to carry a huge heavy water bottle. hence the beauty of the baby nalgene.
the 32 oz with a narrow mouth is genuinely the best water bottle ever. cool people have nalgenes (i mean this in the sense that a lot of hot outdoorsy people (my type) own them)
Fuck your gallon hydroflask, get a tiny bottle so you always have 3 sips in case you need to take an Advil or have a coughing attack on the subway. For those with water anxiety who also like small bags
I get that these are wasteful- I’ll commit to finding a more sustainable solution!
In the meantime, I’ve discovered that these li‘l hot pockets are AMAZING for cold-climate dwellers. I’ve just come off my second winter camping trip, and after sleeping outside in negative temps, embracing BIG HANDWARMER® has really changed the game for me. They work. They make cold fingers (and toes) HOT. They can save you from frostbite and even keep you alive, maybe.
Where have I been?! This is the BEST movie I’ve seen in a long time. The tone is so nuanced, and the careful choices, excellent writing and great performances make this feel like a movie that could have been made yesterday. Sadly, the story feels too relevant today (the world slips into chaos and the internet’s our cabaret!). Liza Minnelli is positively DAZZLING. Okay, I get it now!!
