Refried beans

I‘m being completely sincere when I say that I’ve been having the most satisfying meals of my life at the hands of a can of refried beans. I‘m making a dip, I’m folding a burrito, I’m going spoon to tupperware. With the correct set of toppings it goes nuts. And in this economy hello ??

THE HUMBLE TOSTADA

low key my favorite dish to order at a Mexican restaurant. Super easy to make at home, and the Frontera canned refried pinto beans absolutely slap. Top off with basically a salad of fresh greens or mix it up with roasted Brussels sprouts on top of black beans.
