my friends always joke when u pull out my comb from my pocket but i literally need it wherever i go i have like curtain bangs i guess and they can feel gross and dirty so quickly sadly but when i use my comb its nice and refreshed probably not the best comb cause it’s plastic and its quite staticky which is annoying but it’s a must anyway

I always have a hairbrush in my bag, but its like a normal hairbrush size. Not a small collapsible one - its a full grown paddle hairbrush and my friends always laugh when I pull it out my bag and start brushing. But its so comforting so idc.

I’ve had to engage in so many strategies to learn to keep my curtain bangs from getting greasy it’s a heavy cross to bear for sure

This thing rules. I like to use hair products that don’t turn my pate into a crunchy helmet, but sometimes that means the wind whips my hair around and I need to make an adjustment. Thus, I’ve always got this in my pocket.

[long rec ahead] i can’t take all the credit for this rec bc that would be unfair to my mom. she’s been loyal to the acca kappa italy 1 vent hair brush (i believe this is their cheapest brush) since god knows for how long, and had to replace hers like two years ago! i’ve only owned flimsy cheap ones until my mom had to buy her second one.  i wouldn’t say i have high standards for a hair brush, but some things that i tend to look for in one are:  - should be low maintenance - ^ no cushion or rubber padding (water gets inside and i don’t like that) - base/handle should be one solid material, - no paint coat either  - durable - gentle on the scalp and hair, strong enough to detangle - bristles should at least be 17 cm long - reasonably priced  - tips of the bristles shouldn’t be covered with paint (recurring issue for wet brush brand is the tips fall off) and these brushes from acca kappa check all of the boxes. btw my hair is wavy and damaged from years of bleaching 🤩 italy 1 (bristles are ~19 cm long): suitable for wet hair, great for detangling, brushing feels like a scalp massage airy 1 (~20 cm for black bristles, ~25 cm for nylon monofilament bristles in between the black ones): interesting design… reminds me of an x chromosome. adds sheen to hair, love this for removing frizz and making sure my ponytail/bun is neat.

there’s something so funny about seeing a friend before they notice you cause it’s like a look into what they’re like alone seeing how they walk when they’re by themselves or their expression when they’re just going about or looking around

got an exam tomorrow that i’m naturally feeling awful about but am i allowed to luck farm 🤲🤲🤲 i need all that i can get it like an exam for my final grade for the subject for the year so pretty much it could matter but if i don’t badly i’ll say it won’t but the thing that like i’m upfront worried about is having to actually do it like if i sit down and can’t do any of the essay options (theres like 5 to choose from but that’s not as kind as it sounds cause they’re all pretty specific and difficult) that would be like the worst thing ever so yay
