A couple years ago I discovered Dalí’s painting of Hermes and was obsessed with it. Recently stumbled over this painting of Medusa and I’m similarly enthralled.

i have a lot of posters on my walls, one of them is this painting. i learned about it in my a european history class i took in high school and have been obsessed since. i like to get lost in it. there are so many tiny details that are so fun to look at and wonder how he came up with it.

Someone mentioned being able to reduce the site's motion, and that's 100%—but I also think changing text font/size, overriding profile themes (basically making every single page on the site show in the theme you chose for your profile and the base site only), things like that. I need high contrast and some of the themes hurt my eyes.

if you've never had a Korean corndog, oh my god. so much superior to a normal corndog. Never been a super big fan of cornbread, it just sticks in my mouth too much. But Korean corndogs solve that issue because they use a different breading. It depends on the type of corndog (restaurant I went to recently has tons—a corndog covered in Fruity Pebbles? get outta here!) but I tend to get classic ones with just batter and breadcrumbs and it changes my life. you can also choose to have no meat inside and a full mozzarella dog, or half sausage-half cheese. it's very customizable and that's a huge plus for me, since I have a lot of issues with food. Just cannot recommend these enough. if you haven't had a Korean corndog please reconsider immediately 🙏

Saw in theaters, great movie! of course, Bong Joon-ho is a great director and Parasite being one of my favourite movies of all time, it wasn't anywhere near his best to me. it was actually a little bit over the top and chaotic, and I think it would be annoying to some because it does get kind of quippy. But I still think it had a lot of interesting commentary on imperialism and colonization, paired with some classic economic and class issue viewpoints (every movie of his I've seen seems to touch on it at least somewhat). so I recommend it! If anything it definitely got a lot of laughs out of me (and the little alien creatures are so cute oh my goddd)
