there was a strange melancholy in the air. the mac and cheese was alright. pizza was cold. it felt like a cafeteria but for old people who get early bird specials. 10/10 recommend if you like weird sad places

being home in massachusetts im surrounded by these joints. the food is always average, but that's not the point. it's about the consistency, the booths, the drip coffee, the plastic cups and ceramic mugs, the vinyl tables, the yellow paper receipt, and yes, the passable food. never had a bad conversation or experience with a loved one at a greasy spoon. also a great place to eat alone and read a newspaper like a little old chap. what you order at a diner says a lot about you

I feel cannot express adequately the joy, the nostalgic ambiance, the luxury I felt upon going to the cheesecake factory with my friends. The interior design is, dare I say, whimsical. The service is downright inviting. The food isn’t integral to the experience. Opulence at its absolute finest.

The ones that aren’t big name chains. food’s overpriced and workers are in a bad mood but look at this goofy thing. also there was a fireplace.

lately ive been liking things that are ugly but in a way that's beautiful like cheap dollar tree nail polish or clearance eyeshadow, like things that are ment to be pretty but are forgotten because everyone thinks they're ugly. but i think they're pretty because they're ugly, like in a charming way.

i made this almost exactly a year ago as a little birthday present for myself. it was my first necklace, i had made other jewelry before. im still really proud of it :-) i wear it all the time! the grey beads are labradorite, the small ones are mother of pearl, and the stars are hematite.
