I love Sarah Brightman’s voice and grew up listening to the original cast recording of Phantom of the Opera so I was actually looking for that and just stumbled upon her cover of Hooverphonic’s 1998 song. This song is absolutely insane. Soooo sexy and powerful… I didn’t know Sarah Brightman got down like that!!!!!!! 😳 I’m obsessed. I shared it with my friend and she agreed that it’s one of the most beautiful things she’s ever heard and she said the comment section on YouTube is unusually thoughtful. The whole album is gorgeous but this one is my favorite.

free museums

i was in washington DC last month and the whole time i was in awe of how much art and history and science and culture you could just go and experience completely for free. i paid $0 to go in look at this beautiful painting that could’ve been sold to some rich guy for a jillion dollars instead. i often feel like everything is out to squeeze everything out of me that it can so i really value that we have things that exist just to enrich our minds and souls
