They played an experimental Swedish film before the movie and it was the scariest thing I’ve ever seen. But that experience really primed me to go absolutely feral for Tokyo drift baby!
omg. quite possibly the hottest and most thrilling thing I’ve seen in a theater EVER 🥵 I easily could have slurped up like 12 more hours of that. the soundtrack!!! movies are fun again!!!!
there was just a screening of one of my favorite movies ever - Tokyo Gore Police - at the best theater in portland. I begged my friend to screen it for so long. It pays off to be annoying sometimes I wouldn’t say it makes me feel smart and mysterious but rather depraved and stupid. It’s incredible i recommend it to anyone that can stomach it

I love going to the Internet Archive and searching for scans of vhs covers. So many people have taken the time to upload their whole collection and there’s some absolutely wacky design work on some of those things! It’s such a fun place to go for inspiration
