now obviously it’s not the best way to receive information or interact w a collection . but seeing the range of objects individually itemised allows me to give them an equal amount of attention . usually im drawn by my own interests and prioritise these… i enjoy the experience of going one by one rather than dashing to what i already love .. opens up new worlds to me….

i love people watching in general, but there's something so special about not just viewing the art in museums, but observing those who surround you take in the paintings in front of them. you can tell a lot about people with how seriously they are about studying the paintings and understanding all the hidden stories in between the artists strokes. i love going to museums with my mom because of how we both love to point out the little details and wonder what the stories behind the paintings are.

I get caught up in my artistic interests and often forget other media. Art museums aren't my first choice most days. But the experience is incredibly valuable. It shakes up my box, whether what I see resonates or not.
Last time I went, there was a Beatrix Potter exhibit. I learned so much about her as a person, her childhood, and her appreciation of the sciences and passion for conservation. She and her brother would taxidermy their pets when they died (metal). Her scientific illustrations are astoundingly detailed for being rendered entirely in watercolor. I didn't know watercolors could look like this.

been hiding this a while as i dream of it being my trademark but a lil cinnamon straight into the bialetti with the grounds is so good . just a hint of whimsy in ur morning coffee . might fuck up the pot but honestly life is short and should be filled with fun beverages
