Iām very over meta/advertising/sponsored posts blah blah blah. Iāve recently decided my Instagram is supposed to be FUN so Iāll make it FUN thank you very much. Iāve become obsessed with making collages on Picsart and posting those instead of boring slideshows (donāt get me started on the rectangle profile layout). I like context, memes, and seeing a lot of information at once. The collages are FUN to make. I guess the point of this post is to say I encourage everyone to be creative and post our silly little things because it should be FUN and the rules are made up and the points donāt matter.

Iāve never felt more activated by nostalgia than while making my little digital collage on Pinterest.
As someone who both destroyed Cosmopolitan magazines to birth physical collages and spent hours collecting photo bucket images for my little microsoft paint digital collages, it was deeply satisfying to put together a bunch of stuff in a single photo.
Is it art? Probably not. Did I certainly create this little piece of something? Yes, and thatās all that matters.

Every time I enter into some kind of emotional spiral (good or bad, lol!) I make one of these. Or when I want to organize my thoughts around a creative project, or just for ~funsies~ (š¤®)
I love collaging but I donāt always have the resources or energy to make a physical one and once you get the hang of it, this is a super easy way to do it!!

š±I was inspired by Eddie Burbackās YouTube video and Iāve been only using my phone to call, text, or email for the past week. Not checking it constantly emphasizes that I actually do have free time, and has made me happier. Why do I feel like Iām always the bearer of bad news on here lol!
