Tubi streaming platform
Maybe there’s a bias happening here, but over the past year, whenever I search “[movie title] streaming“ the results, often enough to note, point to Tubi, with the film I want ready to stream for free with commercials. They also made one of the only interesting Super Bowl ads I’ve seen in years (see below).

tired of seeing TUBI slander. past few months I have been loving TUBIs selection of cult and older films. Truly one of the best streaming services for movie lovers and for free (with ads i know). CAN WE PLEASE END THE TUBI STIGMA. bonus: Pluto is pretty good too. Don’t knock it till you try it.

As we're all now forced to juggle and choose between 50 different streaming services, I know that Tubi will always be waiting for me. They are always updating their content available, and have such an amazing movie curation for something completely free. Thank you Tubi for being our last hope in our overly priced subscription filled world 💜

where else can you watch almost every dario argento movie, showgirls (1995), gerald kargl’s notoriously banned thriller ANGST, and a channel exclusive called Titanic 666? all for FREE?? the ads are annoying but look at all these other streamers making you sit through 7 ads for a paid service! god bless tubi. go watch the bird with the crystal plumage on there.

The beach boys - holland (1973)
In the BBs‘ tumultuous early 70s period, they decided to leave the Cali shore for - the Netherlands. They brought a whole entourage & reassembled a soundboard built for them in LA, leading to one of the most expensive records made at the time. Stand outs are the moody and strangely heavy “Steamboat,” the mini rock opera “California Saga,” the rollicking “The Trader,” and the closer “Funky Pretty,” a strange but tuneful pop song that only could’ve come from Brian Wilson’s beautiful and deteriorating mind.
