I’m usually like 3-10 mins late to everything so I’m relieved when someone else is running late, too. Punctual people stress me out in a casual setting!!

I work at a library and every morning we have a very casual staff meeting before open at 8:45am. everyone has already arrived for work at like 7:30/8am, and we're all within a one minute distance of the front desk...and yet they require a "5 minute warning" call, and then everyone gets there 5 minutes early to just...wait. I'm obviously in the minority here bc I walk up on the dot and they all think I'm late. this is me in a nutshell. I'm always either exactly on time but usually late to everything and I will never understand how people are early to things, like I'm going to USE every last second before I HAVE to be somewhere

@BROOKS haha yesss this is what I mean, like I don’t need to be stressed over 5 mins. I can’t make it early anywhere either, but on time for important things. Why not save everyone the anxiety and say 7:55?

I feel like people who r on time is fine, but people, who r “getting nervous” when they’re not 2 hours early is super annoying….

Growing up my parents would show up late EVERYWHERE and more often than not, it felt humiliating and that's why I reach everywhere before time. At first I used to be annoyed when people got late but now I'm more chill. 10 mins is okay and 15 min late is pushing it, but if someone reaches the designated place 30 min late without a valid excuse, it just feels disrespectful.

i am a stickler for being on time and by being on time i mean being 10 minutes early - i find it so disrespectful when people are consistently late because it just shows that they don’t respect my time and i don’t get the excuse that it’s just part of their personality bc if they really cared they would make an effort to change anyway this was brought on by the fact that i missed my very expensive train bc my friends were late

I just can’t help it, for some reason it makes me really anxious if I’m not ready an hour prior to the time I’m suppose to leave, for me that hour feels like I only have 10-15 minutes and I’m already running behind schedule. It’s great most of the time but a bit awkward.

Trying to ease my anxiety about getting to places as of late. People won’t hate you for being late one time when you are on time most of the time 😁

My friend Pia and I were looking for another roomie bc the other girl bailed. Pia got the word out to some people in the burbs, he (future lover) happened to be there and said he was down to move in. Out of desperation from searching, I didn’t care who lived with us as long as they paid rent. We met the day we moved in and became super close friends, it was always respectful, platonic, best-buds type shit. We lived together for 2 years, Pia moved out after year 1. He ended up moving to CO after a life altering change. The day he left was when I realized he was the perfect ”one” for me. I legit cried for weeks straight and we texted non stop every day. He came back a month later and said he really came back for me <3 8 years later, we’re still together and getting married on our 10 year roomie anniversary in October! Sometimes they’re right under your nose, or in this case, under the same roof ;)
