Just randomly came up on my recommended page and clicked in it for something to play in the background while doing the dishes. ended up getting way more emotional than I thought. it’s pretty much a video about YouTuber globert playing a dying game for 30 days and really showcases the communities of ol’ that we lost when the internet became more centralised. watching globert interact with this small community of dedicated players to a game that is boarder-line lost to time really made me long to what the internet used to be, People trying to make real connections in a virtual spaces. give it a watch.

🎮its a perfect post work game, get home grind some bugs, existential crisis, go to bed. it is also becoming sort of an ARG experience from its social media presence, and with the gameplay loop it feels really cool to see in game actions affect *anything at all* besides my dopamine receptors
