Mundane office jobs

The Dream has always been to become a writer, to pay my bills with my words - but The Dream isn't all that realistic. When money was running out quickly in July, I took a temp job at the HR department of a company full of finance bros. I was supposed to work there for four weeks, but Monday marks the start of week 10. I sort files all day, take notes for Substack pieces while I work, and go home to write all night. Afraid I'd never find a day job again, I found my peace of mind on the 5th floor of Rotterdam's Willemswerf. If only I could stay...

TRYING SOMETHING DIFFERENT

im soul crushingly bored with my life and ready to gain some independence so im setting up this contract job for myself a couple hours away. it’d be three weeks paid lodging and food and hard physical labor. totally nothing ive tried before. but fuck im so bored. i really hope it works out i think some hard work will be good for my soul

I only watch "old" shows. why? because they are better, they have plot & most importantly they have a bunch of seasons. Also because I find new shows repetitive & they lack story, I feel like everything is the same, writers have become lazy, actors/actresses all look the same & I feel its because our brains are so fried we can't keep up with such complex stories, so media companies don't even try anymore. It's sad really, content is shit & has been shit for at least these past 8 or so years. anyway, if you have any suggestions for long running "old" shows, share! <33 Ill leave you with a list some of the ones i´ve been watching lately; 1. friendships

Im at that stage in life where everyone is doing something completely different, there's times where I worry, there's times where im really proud & there's also times of just feeling nothing. I have friends getting married, having children, single friends buying houses, traveling, there's friends who are having projects, there's also friends who are also struggling, friends going through heartbreaks & abusive relationships, friends losing their loved ones & all of them are just going through life. I envy ( the good kind ) the ones who are doing well because I really want to see them happy & I worry for the ones that are not. I just hope that when they are all near me they can feel how much I love them. I just want my people happy & safe.

My Tommy boi (grey tabby) with my old roommate´s cat Lately Ive been thinking of getting a little companion for Tommy, I feel like he's a little bored, he's 7 & its just me & him at home, so I feel it might be good for him but idk because when I travel home I take my boy with me & carrying 7 kilos through the airport is a pain, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE trying to carry two cats
