the series that spawned the cornetto trilogy. created, written by, and starring simon pegg and jessica hynes. directed by edgar wright. absolutely hilarious, well-written, and fun. lots of movie/pop culture references, you can tell it's made by a bunch of geeks (affectionate).
full first episode is on youtube! (linked)
if you like star trek or doctor who, this is a mix of both and is also totally ridiculous. cyborgs, wormholes, a human cat, time travel, mpreg, a transfem computer, this show has it all
This outlandish Italian - American collaboration is widely regarded as a Star Wars rip off or a cash in on the popularity of the film at the time and there’s no denying that. Caroline Munro plays Stella Star a beautiful girl and a smuggler who along with her partner Akton and their robot companion team up to fight the evil Zarth Arn and save the empire from his weapon of mass destruction. With charmingly bad acting and lowbrow special effects, this movie is oozing with cheesy goodness like an overstuffed grilled cheese sandwich. Every time I re-watch it I forget how hilarious it is. Every other line of dialogue absolutely sends me. Oh yeah, and space prince David Hasselhoff is in it too so there’s that.
it's nice. you can go wherever you want, do whatever you want, whenever you feel like it.
today i just felt like eating a big slice of peach earl grey cake and jasmine bergamot basque cheesecake all by myself on a sunday afternoon

Dear Louise
There's so many things I want
But mainly, and like everybody
I want to be loved
Don't you think, dear Louise
That because, I think
I have a light heart
It's been such a long time
Since I was in love?
