I was in LA for a little while recently for a reading, and I’ve always been fascinated by LA, mostly because of being a San Francisco loyalist which I will defend to my death. wonderful town, I’m fascinated how it gets to people, even if it isn’t really for me at all. Is it the location? The sprawl? The fantasy? The vibes? The history (I had a Mike Davis audiobook on my drive down)? I’m not a total pessimist about it and would love to learn more specifically, I just find the artifice of it so neat, even if I get it from a remove as a San Francisco semi-cynic.
people love to hate her, but i feel soooo lucky to be able to live somewhere i’ve always dreamed of, with new wonderful friends and so much to explore 🥹
The city so nice they named it once… not everyone vibes with it and thats fine but there’s plenty to see and the weather is great… love her never leaving her!!!
