this god damn film. a crazy, queer, stylistic, introspective glitter-filled-shoegaze-dream. the set design and camera work alone is enough to recommend a watch. one of my favs from my fav director.
not sure if this is niche but i never hear anyone talking about gregg araki so. i love this movie. itβs got amazing set design and characters and a soundtrack with shoegaze and 90s underground indie on it. plot is about aliens and queer identity, which i also love.
or really any social media stories. I know social media is just a highlight of a persons life but I feel like the stories feature is just a bombardment of happening-in-present-time content for me to compare myself to. my mental health has improved drastically.
