but let me tell ya, it slaps a decade later, sitting in my college dorm apartment finishing the last hour of the show and sobbing my eyes out…..

PLEASE if u haven’t seen it… u need to. its my first time watching through, and i’m struck by how sincere this show is. i’ve been feeling rly sick of irony / ironic media, and LOST is a balm of sorts, making me feel hopeful when nothing else is rn. the writers aren’t afraid to lean all the way in, into archetypes, absurdity, sweetness, drama…. yeah, can’t recommend it more highly tbh

I’ve been on a med for my ocd for one month as of today! Yippee! And I’m feeling really wonderful.
I’ve been anti-med my whole life (because of my ocd i had a massive fear taking meds would fuck up my liver and kill me…lol) but my new and fantastic therapist (another separate rec) has helped me realize that I should try it… and omg LIFE CHANGING.
I haven’t had any bad side effects (that I know of?) and have genuinely felt more productive and less anxious. like I can finally go to bed without worrying about my hair rubbing against my pillow, and can take a shower without having to Freak Out about stepping on the dirty floor..
like omg life is awesome and beautiful. People just are like this normally? Crazy.

I know that we live together and that like, we always have sleepovers, but it’s different when you THINK of it as a sleepover, it feels more magical. #girlytime #yippee
