as depressing as this sounds, i really love the lyrics. helped me pinpoint my summer melancholy in a way i couldn’t always do through my own words. i also gravitate towards songs that sound quaint on the surface until you listen to the lyrics a little harder.
This movie is beautiful and funny from the beginning to the very end. One, if not the, best coming of age movie!
And the opening song is perfect for the opening scene it really made me feel in the snow.
