Not to let one of my very closest and most favorite songs out of the bag but here goes. The first time I ever heard this song I was driving to Wyoming with one of the best friends a man could ask for. This was two years ago, the sun was setting over the wind river range leaving an orange glow and rain around the mountains. Iโd go On to work there for a summer two years later, not in a small part because of that trip and my buddy (and a similar trip with my father 2 years before that). Today back in the Midwest on the commute to my job I donโt really enjoy, 6 hours from my dear friend, In the Shadow of the Valley comes on and i tear up a little. Part of me will always be on that drive, and this lovely song lets me go there again, if only for a few seconds. Happy Friday love your friends while they live close :)
I think mountain lions are so cool, just thinking about them right now. If I could have a mountain lion as a companion I so would. They are beautiful creatures, iconic symbols of the American west, which I also love. If I ever saw one in the wild I would be so scared but later Iโd think it was cool.
I have always been on selfies and yes itโs kinda embarassing and yes itโs kinda cringe but I think taking photos of ourselves in moments helps you feel like you have moments that are worth documenting AND you look good in them! Also funny factor on selfies is so good. Look at this selfie I took.
