A friend had recommended me this app to block Instagram and TikTok so i could stop doomscrolling and fix my attention span , and read or watch a movie in my free time .
And honestly it's one of the best advices I've ever received.

Deleted tiktok and finished three books in a week. I should’ve deleted the app sooner. It’s actually so insane how ingrained tiktok scrolling has been in my daily routine. without the app I was just scrolling through the most random apps ever, then realized like damn this is a problem 😭 I miss it bad but I also don’t need it. Twitter is next 🙏 I need to fill my time with productive and fulfilling activities, no more mindless scrolling ‼️

I’ve been in a similar predicament :-) I deleted the app on my phone, it still gives me the option to look up insta on my laptop but it’s not available all the time for useless scrolling — which is the reason why I deleted it.
And on top of that there is an app called ScreenZen (I’m sure there are more) where you can limit your app usage (I have it set on 3 times a day for tumblr and reddit for example) and it’s working really well for me! Can only recommend!!
