The Blue Planet, Franco Piavoli's completely captivating nature documentary. A constant hum of life. Humans, plants, bugs, water, sun, night (the night scenes gave me the most comforting feeling of yearning). Such beautiful field sounds.
I watched it tonight, and it made me really feel like I exist.

This incredibly special film will challenge and comfort you: it will place the spectre of death on your shoulder and shoo away any worries you had about it being there. It’s full of beautiful images, but the most lasting are the ones that transcend the screen. I’ve not had a cinema experience like it

definitely a tear-jerker but visually one of the most beautiful films i've ever seen. the final club scene when 'under pressure' by bowie and queen is playing is engrained into my mind forever. it changed my perspective on life and had me bawling by the end credits. a film where silence is beautiful and heartbreaking.
paul mescal also did such an incredible job in this.

This is a type of walk I do almost every day. Walk in one direction until you hit a stoplight. Then immediately turn and walk in the new direction until you hit a stoplight and repeat until you get back home.
