The Blue Planet, Franco Piavoli's completely captivating nature documentary. A constant hum of life. Humans, plants, bugs, water, sun, night (the night scenes gave me the most comforting feeling of yearning). Such beautiful field sounds. I watched it tonight, and it made me really feel like I exist. (also currently streaming free on le cinema club <3)
maybe not the most different or obscure but i watched this with my mommy while sick the other night and i really loved it :) must watch in Italian for the full effect buongiorno principessa!
the most beautiful film ever [i.m.o.] so much to think about packaged into something so simple & gentle, and ends up feeling truly massive. so much inertia in every sequence of images. 💧💫.
My friend and I both don't like running very much as exercise, but the other night we did the childhood activity of "running around" in my backyard and THAT was great.
I love looking up at the stars every night, and it's one of those things that actually feels worth the snapshot. It feels cozy to recognize planets and stars (and our faithful friend Orion). It really never gets old for me, and even though the images aren't remarkable, looking back at them transports me to moments of simple special presence with myself.
