Orcas have incredibly complex social structures, complete with languages, regional dialects, and even names. They sing, dance, mourn deaths, and celebrate births, sometimes across pods and families that share a common language. The matriarchs teach the young verbally, passing down knowledge through words, not just actions. That means orcas don’t just follow instinct , they have culture. One of the few animals on Earth that truly does.

Saw a pod of them in the waters off Vancouver Island yesterday and it evoked a real sense of wonder, of being part of nature and not separate from it.

When I was seven, an 80s movie aired on TV, and I watched it until my mom turned it off at bedtime. I cried, wanting to see the rest, but she refused, and I eventually fell asleep. The next day, I couldn’t remember the movie’s name, so I never finished it—until today. It aired again, and the experience was surreal; I remembered every detail and finally saw the ending.

Tamino’s Amir is a stunning blend of Western music and Egyptian roots. His sound feels timeless ,ethereal vocals, poetic lyrics, and deep inspiration from religion, philosophy, and mythology. It’s haunting, beautiful, and incredibly moving. Definitely one of my top 5 artists, and Amir sits firmly in my top 10 albums of all time.

It's not just because they'll eventually come for you too - they will but because being around them will mess with your head. You'll start overthinking everything you do, scared that everyone's judging you just as hard. And honestly? Life's too short to live like you're on trial all the time.
