Saying “love you” to sleep

Sometimes if I'm by myself and I can't sleep, I just say (in my head) "I love you, _____" to whoever comes to mind. Once I've gone through all of the obvious loves of my life who I see regularly, people I almost entirely forgot about will come to mind which is sweet, and sometimes people I don't like will come to mind, but because I'm so sleepy I'm like ok whatever all is forgiven love you, which is freeing. Anyway it feels like I'm sending little wishes to everyone :)

Did this start when I was like 12 because I read a bunch of stories where people would regret the last things they said to their family members? yes. Do I now do it just for funsies? Yes.

giving tasks to men

Any man, any task. I’m sure there are other ways to strengthen your relationships with men but this is the easiest I’ve found and my method also gets a task done. Ask your dad to build shelves, ask some guy on your street to mow your lawn, ask your friend to collect a parcel for you, ask your brother to hang a picture frame. So many tasks get done and so many men feel needed and appreciated. Could offer them a beer to make it transactional but it’s almost never necessary.
