If you have a baby, this company makes lullabies that are covers of existing hit songs. From Beyonce to ACDC, you can just pick music you already like and hear beautifully crafted lullaby versions. My son would always fall asleep to the Beatles and Coldplay covers.

The Beatles' "Sun King" filtered through the reverb and despair of Roy Orbison's "Crying." Maybe all songs named "Baby Blue" are meant to be masterful: Dylan, Badfinger, Modest Mouse, Luke Hemmings.

Firstly, Nina Simone is the Queen of Covers: • Do what you gotta do - Nina Simone (researching for this question I just found out here isn’t the original and that’s insane. That’s actually insane. Jimmy Webb original? Flop.) • Stars (Live Vine St. Bar & Grill/1987) - Nina Simone • Here comes the sun - Nina Simone  • The closer I get to you - Beyoncé, Luther Vandross • How can you mend a broken heart - Al green  • Can’t take my eyes off of you - Lauryn Hill • Killing me softly - Lauryn hill, Fugees  • Killing me softly - Roberta Flack (a cover fr?!) • After you - Roberta Flack (gagged again) • Will you still love me tomorrow - Carole King • Life on mars - Aurora (girls hbo soundtrack) • Iron man - The Cardigans • Sabbath Bloody Sunday - The Cardigans • The first time I ever saw your face - the temptations  • Sarah Smile - Boys II Men • Moon River - Frank Ocean • Blue velvet - Lana Del Rey • Doin time - Lana Del Rey • Across the universe - Fiona Apple

Living in LA means crazy, unpredictable traffic. I always give myself extra time and end up getting to appointments early, so I use that time to do things I don’t want to do at home. I have a mini keyboard to practice piano, a red light mask, tweezers, dental floss and list of random tasks and emails to knock out while I wait.

I’m obsessed with audiobooks, and 1.8x speed is my sweet spot. It’s fast enough that I don’t get bored, but not so fast that I miss anything.
