I don’t know, I can’t stop myself from being a hater sometimes but I can end my rant with a bunch of gratitude and accountability… it looks kinda like this *rants about someone’s awful style* “But honestly I literally dress like that on my days off so let me shut up maybe it’s her day off” It’s called balance.

The hater mentality and cynicism you project outward is also how you think about yourself and you’re bumming everybody out

i used to be such a hater, and of course there are ways it still shines through, but it’s exhausting to think everything everyone else does is embarrassing all the time. like yeah crocs are cringe, but that’s kind of the point? if it’s not hurting anyone, if it’s just someone being happy and enjoying something, why be a hater??

It’s easy to just hate and equally easy to bail but if you force yourself to exert your haterism as momentum to hold yourself to a higher standard. why not challenge yourself to do it a little better every time you pick it up. even if you’re being a little spiteful or catty.

Let it out , legend. On friendship: have a fart contest! On relationship: maybe they’re into that sort of thing 👀 On family: I think all families at some point smell each other’s farts and I’m sure it’s part of our primordial bond.

Every day at some point every member of my nuclear family will send their song of the day, with or without context. Not everyone remembers everyday but it’s a practice we all are getting into and a habit we are keeping semi accountable to. On busy days it’s nice to have the playlist format so I can revisit everyone’s songs in an orderly fashion when I have the time To do so. It’s great for infinite reasons.
