This 1970-something animated movie is available on Youtube in full as well as some archival sites. I watched it for the first time with a date, and as one Letterboxd user states, it was āmore intimate than analā.
I donāt even care to spoil or preface it for you, Iāll just say itās got some spectacular watercolor art animations and great tattoo ideas.

Itās a movie for children about the encroachment of techno-Capital on joyful human experiences ā¦ about the indispensability of art and love. More colourful than an aposematic bug and likewise scares off many viewers because itās so over the top. So brilliantly incoherent that it didnāt even make its budget back at the box office. Itās not for serious people but itās also absolutely one for the heads.
I am watching it right this second and U should too.

every once in a while i go down a rabbit hole of animated short films on youtube. i really liked the art style of this one! so so cool. if anyone has anything similar to this for me to watch, feel free to let me know in the comments.

This Cy Twombly playlist was particularly good, I also find peace in some Monet playlists. This does also apply to other forms of media, such as authors and influencers, films etc. I watched the Substance and found a lot of European 2000s house music through those lists. I just finished Cookie Muellerās Walking Through Clear Water in A Pool Painted Black (apologies if itās not the exact title of the book, Iām not motivated to look it up at the moment) but her lists are full of Nico and The Velvet Underground.
