I am by no means traditionally religious, but I fully understand how being in the presence of beautiful stained glass can feel like being with god. ALWAYS stop off at a church on the way if you think it might have good stained glass. The bluebells in the bottom right corner of this made me loose my breath for a moment.

it’s timeless and beautiful. whenever i see a stained glass window i’m filled with joy. my aunt and uncle used to own a stained glass business and their house was full of things they’d made that would shine different colours everywhere when the sunlight hit 🌞

Lately I’ve been disgusted at how much I rely on my phone. I’ve been leaving it in my car, letting loved ones know I’ll be unresponsive for a while, and just taking my digital camera everywhere I go. I’m more engaged in conversations, my attention span is better, AND I have some sweet new digi pics. everything looks so REAL on a digital cam:)

Sometimes I find myself going to events or ordering food I don’t even like or want JUST to take a picture because “instagram will eat this up”. STOP!!!! Live life the way YOU want to, not the way you think your followers would enjoy.
