Hung out with a friend I haven't seen in a few months, (my diss is killing me ๐Ÿ˜ญ, someone save me plsss ๐Ÿ™) and we made daisy chains after updating each other on new lore. Haven't made these since like year 9 maybe? will be honest, I was rusty and ended up going with a lot of long ones but they kinda fell apart quicker. next time I shall go with shorter daisies so the chain is more flowery and less stemmy. you can see in the picture that I had to try and put some parts back together.

Itโ€™s cute, itโ€™s easy, itโ€™s super cheap. Lately whenever I have guest whenever we sit around and talk we all make a chain together itโ€™s great to keep your hands busy and just relax and focus on the conversation and being with people you love linking little papers together. I have like 40 feet of valentines chains at this point

Knots are just fun. I donโ€™t know what else to say about it! Take those old shoelaces and go to town.

This is my new favourite kind of crochet project. It's great for using up small balls of yarn/scraps and they can be relatively quick projects if you keep them small (the apple one is 17x47, the bow one is 20x20, the swan one is 24x27 stitches) so if you get bored with projects quickly it's a good choice. There are so many different grids you can find I get mine off Pinterest. Since my pieces are very small I think I'm going to sew them all together plus more to create a pillow case, but there are so many other things you can with with this technique like framing them or using this style of colour work in a larger piece like a jumper.
