Haunting and cold. If you listen to it often enough you'll find a lot of anger in the softness. This is one of the prettiest and most shocking albums ever
this album is no skips top to bottom. st ides heaven is my favorite. love how most songs have minimal instruments. with lyrics that feel like getting stabbed in the heart and beautifully wispy vocals, ideal listening time for this is at NIGHT on a WALK when its a LITTLE BIT COLD.
There's an anger harbored within this record that distinguishes it from his other albums that moves me, in conjunction with the fact that it has some of his most nimble and tastefully experimental guitar playing (also the case with his self-titled!)
