Birthdays are a time for self reflection and often, for me, that means regression. Last year I clocked my mid-30s milestone by treating myself to a slightly metallic powder blue eyeshadow by Neen in a shade aptly named “Scream” From C.O. Bigelow. Think Buffalo 66, PJ Harvey, Euphoria. Much like my teen years, no one takes blue eyeshadow seriously, but at the same time is very intimidated by it. For a more camp look I go with Claropysche’s “Life on Mars” shade mixed with Make Up forever’s Aqua Seal that reads Divine/Ursula/Love Witch when I really want to play the villain.
