it is sooooo hard to be consistent with exercise but it is doing wonders for my physical and mental health. I’m not so sluggish now and I can already feel my muscles growing. I take pole dancing classes too and getting more in shape has made the material soooo much easier

i’ve been slowly getting into fitness over the past year and it was a real lightbulb moment for me when i started doing more intensive workouts (as opposed to only yoga/pilates) bc they are wildly more gratifying, physically and mentally. turns out the confidence and motivation you get from doing hard things is what makes u actually wanna continue working out. i’m now more active than ever and it feels great!!!

I’ve started using weights in my workouts to build some muscle and become leaner and stronger :)

I hate to say it but it is good for my brain and I feel better about myself now that I’m going to the gym regularly

Work literally destroys the soul. Everyone is exhausted all the time because performing labor and maintaining the human spirit are incompatible with each other. We live under a system that wants everyone beaten down and isolated and having little energy to make plans with those you love is a symptom of a larger, evil system

Freshman year I went through an industrial phase so I was really into stuff like Rammstein, KMFDM, Skinny Puppy, Revolting Cocks, etc. Sophomore year is kind of a blur but I remember listening to a lot of LCD Soundsystem and Kraftwerk. Junior year I got REALLY into shit like Bikini Kill, Hole, Sleater-Kinney, etc. Also went through a good month or two where I was only listening to ska. I have no recollection of anything I did during senior year so idk what I listening to lol
