Not underground, but underrated in the sense that people stray a bit away from slice of life animes because theres no drama really. But to me, this anime is so funny, calming, and even though it came out around 2007, the art style and animation hold up well. plus you can find the whole series subbed and dubbed on yt since it first came out so 😂

Yugioh: The Abridged series

hear me out these dudes took the stupidest fucking saturday morning cartoon from my childhood and did the stupidest fucking fan dub ever and it's genius they call out every stupid joke, and every single time people decide to settle life-or-death disputes through the only means worth a damn, a childrens' card game. it's some of the funniest shit on youtube, and sparked a dozen other "abridged" anime series. (There's one for Dragonball Z, and Goku is the archetypical himbo he was always meant to be)
