most of them r from diaries so they're short and barely even tell historians about the play... imagine someone using letterboxd to try to understand what ppl thought of a movie and all they see is "my favorite part was paul mescals thighs" 😭

i love it, they’re always so short and you get to imagine youre in the play or watching the play and really fleshing out the characters in your mind and falling in love with them! what a beautiful thing.
I’ve been enjoying reading plays! They usually have lots of dialogue so (depending on the play) they are generally super easy and quick to get through. I was skeptical at first but there are some good ones out there!
