didn’t understand it until i saw eurovision!! now catch me watching the grammys, the superbowl, the oscar’s, any sort of live event… so beautiful to know everyone is streaming and to see it immediately instead of reading the news later !!
every four years is just long enough for me to forget every country that exists. thus every four years i get to experience the pure joy of an alphabetical introduction to each country with slightly out of the loop british commentators desperately trying to get their niche fact out before the next country walks in. and of course the best bit is judging each country’s ceremony outfit. and watching two people trying to wave one flag. god guys it’s so good. can’t wait
