😃Sometimes the best thing to do is just embrace the awkwardness. sometimes a Conversation gets awkward and the more you try to avoid that, the more the conversation becomes artificial and dis genuine. its normal to have awkward moments, and the best way to embrace it is to acknowledge it. if an awkward silence occurs maybe say “that got awkwardly quiet“ sometimes when things get awkward it’s a sign to switch subjects. ALWAYS try to find common ground when talking to new people. Ask them what they’re interested in, it’s fine to ask questions. Lastly if You draw a blank on what to say, if your brain freezes and you suddenly can’t think anymore, Make sounds until they’re words. The most awkward thing to do is nothing, so just do something

🧠If I run out of questions to ask or things to say on a date its easier to just say… I cant think of any more questions, rather than forcing something. You can always find another thing to do or! or just sit in silence without expectations. Awkward silence isn't awkward if your both know the reason why its silent 👍

🍽if ur awkward talking then eating/having a coffee together is usually a good way to fill the silence until the ice melts and something will always happen when ur eating that you can strike up a convo about(the food, ppl around you, neighbourhood ur in, decor, etc) that isnt stuff like life/work that often stresses ppl out or becomes repetitive
typically if ur both listening well to the other then the convo will progress naturally and you wont be stressing about coming up with the next topic but instead struggling with when to stop talking and say ur goodbyes:/ my character is one thats perceived as random so the ppl i interact with are expecting unexpected topics? who knows what normal ppl talk about
talking about their pets/kids maybe? but be prepared to be subjected to their camera roll
