Whether thatās with a joke or a low stakes question, I try to get myself to rememberāit doesnāt have to be that deep.
Like sure it was awkwardā¦ but awkward moments are inevitableā¦itās a part of meeting someone new!
Plus it can serve as a moment to look back and laugh about as we get closer. An opportunity to be like, āLook how far weāve come!!!ā

sometimes moments are so awkward that telling a joke or changing the subject doesnāt really work, so instead i acknowledge the awkwardness and laugh about it šš it normally breaks the tension
I went through a phase where i took adult ballet classes a 50min drive from me, and one day my comedian online mutual was likeā¦ ālet me comeā¦ā and for like 6 months we went to ballet together twice a week and slowly started recruiting more of our friends to join us. honestly great time i felt like a kid again :D #hingepartner
