Any complicated thing or situation can feel impossible beforehand and frustratingly obvious in hindsight. I’d take the part that feels either: a) the easiest or b) the most appealing or c) the one that will help the most. Once you’re done with one part of a complicated mess you’ll feel more moralized and ready to tackle the next bit.
Figure out what's required to complete the task or tasks. Break it down into a list a manageable steps. Do one a day. After each step, pat yourself on the head and fuck off until tomorrow.
instead of "solving" it quickly and completely. ur allowed to just have a little look. the hesitation comes from the pressure to totally overcome the hardship or complete the whole task once you've started. i know u wanna deep clean your whole room! just straighten the items on your nightstand for a moment, and notice how life doesn't demand all of you all at once
