Maki Namekawa plays Philip Glass, Mishima Suite

Finished “Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters” recently and so the soundtrack’s been on loop. Mishima/Closing got me tearing up when I heard it over the credits.
This vid’s got some really fantastic piano arrangements of the movie’s score, and the visuals are wild enough to make this an art piece unto itself.

god help the girl

belle and sebastian did alot of the music (yay) all in all though it is a collaborative soundtrack for the movie it’s titled after my favorite movie ever hella cheesy but watch it the costumes and the dialogue are so sweet (tw ED) checkout the cast recording and the originals i love em all:)

Limited edition set of the sonny boy soundtrack

Bought the vinyl set when it released back in 2021 because I knew the songs wouldn’t be available on Spotify, and because I love this show oh so much. This soundtrack has got Sunset Rollercoaster, mitsume, The Natsuyasumi Band, toe. I mean can you believe they got toe to do an anime soundtrack??? ITS STACKED with some of my favourite j-indie/mathrock bands.
