coping with the fact i missed the cameron winter tour by listening to this on repeat for the uninitiated it's alt country/indie/jam rock abt a cowboy wandering in the desert on psychedelics but written by new yorkers
It's not country it's just great, versatile Canadian songcraft that is very under-appreciated. The album is gorgeous. This is someone who's obsessed with The Fall, Felt, and The Go-Betweens, and 12" extended mixes. But it's so uniquely its own thing.
Haven’t been able to stop playing it since it dropped! Spent my morning biking to this album and the winds made the sky look great and helped me be ~introspective~, truly couldnt have asked for a better ride.
The latter half works together so well and probably is my preferred section right now. love the sound of desert eagle the most and the blackbird cover has been on repeat but just everything is cool so.
physically writing down the answers feeds into my grandpa-ness co-rec is having a cup of hot tea, it helps when you get stuck on 23 across and need a pick-me-up
