Great adaptation of a great play, knowing some the actors in it passed away from AIDS makes this film even sadder than it already is.

anyone who hasn't seen this, i don't care about the list you have in ur notes app, watch this one next. about a gay rights group (comprised of flaming gays) in 80s london who support this tiny welsh town over the course of the the miners strikes. its a true story and they portrayed it in such an earnest way. its funny, and it hammers at your heartstrings big time. cannot recommend enough

It really hit close to home, after watching I felt so many emotions all at once. I don’t want to give it away but I (unfortunately) related with the main character too much. Does that ever happen to anyone after a movie?

I feel like middle aged or older adults have such a good sense of themselves, at least from an outside perspective. Everyone I know from family to co-worker to teacher who is within this age range is so easy to describe. Their characteristics are easy to point out and their personality is very clear. I feel like this isn't as true for young adults and teens and especially not for kids. Maybe it's because we're open to changing ourselves more and definition hinders our ability to grow. I feel like this is obvious but an observation non the less.

The person who created this site is so insanely knowledgeable and creative, if you are at all interested in medieval history this website will be up your alley. So go visit their monastery and sign their guestbook as a pilgrim of St. Blamensir. (the cemetery is also sure to make you cry)

I’m not at home for most of the day but you can bet when 4pm hits she’s there waiting at the front door for me. I’ve been sick lately and had to lock her out while i diffused essential oils in my room to help with my sinuses. I WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN she was wailing and scratching at my door and the look of joy in her eyes when I stepped out my room filled me with unbearable guilt. I love my cat more than anything on this earth and everyday is a bit better knowing i’m her favourite person ❤️‍🩹
