They’re fascinating. They‘re brilliant engineers, they swim, they slap the water with their tails to warn other beavers, they have their own waterproofing oils, they can hold their breath underwater for 15 minutes, their dens are cool, they are monogamous which I think is cute. Either beavers or owls. Or those monkeys that chill in the hot springs in Japan.
