my friends showed me this movie in high school and it really opened me up to weird and alt movies and stories in all mediums. I watch it at least twice a year.
Gorgeous movie that immediately draws you in with its animation style and also has a great story, I’ve watched it at least 5 times. Honorable mention is Donnie Darko
i’ve seen this movie a dozen or more times from the age of 9 to 20, every time i watch it something new stands out to me and i always reach the end credits with my face sore from smiling the entire time. made me want to practice meditation the first time i watched it as well so shout out to that
He was stoned and we were at an AC/DC show but this was the first time ever so the culmination of my entire adult life's accomplishments being validated by ur literal creator felt pretty good
