I worried about people with vision impairments using this. I really want to see how the accessibility settings, will help navigate these contrast issues.
someone on twitter confirmed there is a reduce transparency setting that basically gets rid of all of it. i have fine vision and i think i'll still need to turn that on if they don't tone it down lol
If youβre on an iPhone go to settings>accessibility>display and text size>color filters>on and tap on black and white. So much of it is lizard brain being engaged by bright colors so if itβs all black and white I find myself looking at it way less. Android also has a setting for it here https://birchtree.me/blog/how-to-set-your-iphone-or-android-phone-to-black-and-white-and-why-its-a-fun-experiement/
Personally, I understand that sometimes forcing friendliness is not gonna work. Check with the other person to see if they are also interested in maintaining a conversation at the same pace that you are and want. If not, it's ok to continue looking for other people to connect with.
However, don't forget to be open, and remember that building any relationship requires some intention invested in it. :)
