All squeezed into my favourite bag ever (I like it because it has a C on it and my name starts with a C and I also got it monogrammed with my initials)

The picture frame on the right is filled with my favorite things that people have written in my birthday cards, so that when i am sad i can remember that people i love also love me. The one on the left is filled with Polaroids of my favorite people and a handwritten note from my great grandmother.

i think recognizing what brings up certain feelings is incredibly important in addressing them - how can we fix something if we donโ€™t know how it starts? i realized That it was my morning and night routines that were causing me the most stress and messing with that peace that i wanted to achieve. for starters, phone in the morning will always stress me out and bring up thoughts that were unnecessary to starting my day. i let myself think for about 15 minutes (if i was good at meditation, id probably do that. But im not so I donโ€™t force Myself) and then if need be I go on my phone for only necessary things. same thing with night routine. i try to journal and get my thoughts out before That Hour happens and i start to overthink about everything Iโ€™ve ever done. so i can be prepared and think logically about things That might disrupt my peace i worked hard for during the day. laying out my thoughts on paper sometimes even makes them seem a little silly after the fact. and being able to name specifically what is wrong will always make my issues feel more tangible and therefore have tangible solutions that will, thus, bring us some more peace
