Feeding ducks and squirrels from the palm of your hand

They have wisdom you can't access but can sense when you are hand-feeding them. Squirrels also continue to take food and bury it for later when they are no longer hungry so the fun never stops.

taking care of ur backyard friends

formed a solid friendship with the squirrel in the backyard- I give him a walnut or two and he sits on a table or the window and enjoys it while I sip on coffee, he always makes sure I see him too, he’s kind of the best

Beauty is all around us

This past year I have become obsessed with all that our hands do. hands help, build, create, love, share. There is so much beauty in our day to day lives you just have to look for it. This is one of my favorite hand pictures I took this year. my coworker is opening a pomegranate to share with our class. I love how her hands are making a heart while she is separating the seeds.

Take your time with school

Took me 8 years and 4 schools to finish my degree, but when I finished it was because I wanted to. There is so much pressure to live life a certain way but it is ok to do things at your own pace in your own way. Life is not a checklist. I am so proud to have finished school because I did it in the most fulfilling way for me.
