no contest my favorite album rn, I love how much the Stones were willing to experiment with this record and it really paid off. Citadel might be the heaviest track of their whole career and it's amazing. 10s all the way down.

I generally don’t like greatest hits albums, but this is one I’ve always gravitated to, mainly because it only has songs from my favorite era of the Stones, the 60s to the beginning of the 70s, rather than being a standard big retrospective compilation. Been giving it a lot of play this past week. Now I feel like firing up some Aftermath or Between The Buttons!

been on a Black Sabbath kick recently, a lot to be said. their debut is more or less an Evil Blues album, during the coke era there are some oddly great hits (It’s Alright, Spiral Architect, and Dirty Women are basically evil ELO songs), Changes is a spectacular ballad, that first four or five album run is practically perfect, but Dio is also a phenomenal singer. listening to Master of Reality at 13 while learning what weed was was a total life changer…

Listened to this for the first time on the way to work this morning. Heavy asf and a kick to the jaw of an album. Badass record. 9/10 Listen if you like: The Velvet Underground - White Light / White Heat The Stooges - The Stooges Patti Smith - Horses
