The best thing to ever come out of SNL. That painfully unfunny show would and could never put someone like Norm in a main cast role today. Yes, better than Jay Pharaoh and Kenan Thompson. People DID love him before he died but the mass public did not truly get on board with his humor and comedy until after he died. Remember when that jerk Jimmy Fallon virtue signaled by banning and uninviting Norm from The Tonight Show, and then, when Norm died, he acted like he and Norm were best friends? I for sure do.

My favourite comedian of all time. I could genuinely watch this guy for hours. I frequently revisit the SNL playlist of all his weekend updates/sketches.

Kind of a predictable answer but he was at the peak of his game here. Just perfectly executed all around. Stand up comedy as an art form was never better

I love standup so much. I started hitting open mics when I was still in high school. I completely love the journey comedians need to take to become good in this particular medium and I feel very comfortable in rooms of comedians. Totally agree that specials online are totally ass now, but that’s because these comedians are getting internet famous before they’re actually good enough at stand up to put out quality specials. My best examples would be Matt Rife and Ralph Barbosa. These guys are kinda funny, no doubt, but they’re not nearly good enough to be doing stadiums yet. However, they’re poppin online so they can sell the tix to fill the stadiums. SOCIAL MEDIA LIKES DOES NOT MEAN GOOD JOKES. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE REALLY STADIUM ACTS. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THEY HAVE POLISHED HOURS. And this case can be translated to almost any stand-up comedian you’re thinking of that’s under the age of 50. Plus the whole Joe Rogan universe of guys have lost their spunk. And the Kill Tony-sphere is wack as hell. Podcasting is too convenient and completely numbing specials consumed virtually. I hate it all. the best stand-up will always rise to the top. Shane Gillis is on a much deserved run right now and is definitely the people’s champ. But he got GREAT at standup outside of the digital media cycles. That’s the difference and it shows. And legends will be legends for that exact reason, legendary performances. Not everyone is legendary, most comics kinda suck still. Praise god for comedy.

Everything in your life does not have to be subscription based, and subscription does not equate a service being good. If I’m paying $24.99 a month to watch Netflix in 4K UHD, I should expect to see what I pay for, not subpar playback latency, low bitrate streams, many app crashes, and overall looking terrible on anything that isn’t a 4K display. Remember when you could buy things and own them, like, forever? There is a better world out there past Netflix, Hulu, Spotify and Amazon Prime.

You don’t have to tell everyone everything in/about your life, especially online, in today’s online yet frequently data-breached world. Like the great Christopher Wallace once said: Keep your family and business completely separated

I have a near-Biblical dislike of Allbirds shoes and every other Tim Cook Jeff Bezos Middle-aged Balding Pickleball coach ass shoe out there for convincing the public that these were in any way cool. No dude, you look like a loser with these. They look bland and lifeless, like they were concocted in the same boardroom that made the flat graphic design trend that Meta and Google love so much. Hell, even notorious ip-infringer Skechers makes better looking shoes than these. They don’t even feel good to wear. They have no soul or personality and yet some people swear by them. Who are these shoes for?
