Since middle school he has been positioned to watch over me while I sleep. I moved away for a couple years and didn’t bring him with and they were the worst years of my life. I have invited him back into my home and my life has drastically improved. Do you think it’s a coincidence?

When I was a kid, probably around 8 or 9 years old, I remember waking up in the middle of the night and seeing a huge light in my room in front of the window (keep in mind, it was nighttime, I could see the night sky behind it). It didn‘t move, just hovered there. It was huge too, almost touching the ceiling. I couldn’t make anything out, but I don’t remember being scared of it. Even now, I don’t remember the incident with fear. And as I watched it and it watched me, I realized that it had turned into morning and it disappeared. It wasn't a dream because there was no waking up afterwards part, I was already awake and my Mom was coming in to get me up so she could take me to my grandparents’ house before work. I remember being in shock over the whole thing until we got to the house and I told my mom what I’d seen. At that point, I was a bit scared because I couldn’t make sense of my experience and she calmed me down and I never saw anything like it again. I found out a few years later that she talked to my aunt about the situation and my aunt told her that my cousin and Grandpa had the exact same experience as me, down to the smallest details. And the one person that we all have in common was my Grandma who had passed a few years before this happened. I’m sure a lot of people wouldn’t believe me if I told them this because it is pretty unbelievable and I’d chalk it up to a dream or something if I hadn’t found out that others experienced the same as me. I’d like to think that it was my Grandma somehow but I can’t say for sure. That’s the comforting explanation anyway lol

I dont usually remember dreams but about a month ago when I was first going back 2 sleeping in my vehicle or in a hammock camping, every night I would have a vivid dream of the location id fallen asleep at, where some stranger would come find me (just a fear of mine manifesting).
But!!!! There was this one where I was sleepin in my hammock on the side of a lake, and the person showed up n brought me this like, box thing (inside the box wasnt important, just trash), but it was made out of leathery flesh, and when they gave it to me I realized it had been mine before, because the flesh had tattoos I had done on it, ooooooooooo...
Pretty weird, anyways as a little kid whenever I got sick I would have reoccurring nightmares where I was #planking suspended on a single long-ass needle pricking one of my vertebrae, surrounded by a white empty void. it would happen as sleep paralysis sometimes where I would b lying down awake but couldn't move cause I was stuck on da needle. Idk I blame autism

I specifically made plans this year to be alone on my actual birthday. And it’s been so nice. The best in years, no tears! I got up early to walk around a wildflower garden, tried a new coffee shop. Read a lot. Thrifted. Sushi for dinner and a peach crepe for dessert. The only thing missing was that I never went and celebrated with my favorite paintings at the museum but I’ll have a belated party with them later. Happy birthday to me.

My toaster is having a bad week so she doesn’t have the energy to hold the lever down anymore. Which means I have to stand there pressing it down for three minutes making sure my toast doesn’t burn. I used to take that time for granted, now it’s being robbed of me by my broken toaster. Trying to give her grace.
